Plume has a vibrant and lively group of young people and we are passionate about involving our young people fully in the life of the fellowship and it’s community. We have regular activities for all age groups and we believe in valuing our young people and encouraging them to deepen their relationship with Jesus through prayer, study of God’s Word, fellowship, fun and service.
Each year a group of young people and their leaders enjoy a week at Soul Survivor, as well as other activities, joining with other young people in churches not only in Colchester but around the region. They are regularly involved in services, whether it’s as part of the worship band, helping in junior church or leading services.
As a fellowship we are committed to helping our young people grow, discover God’s vision for their lives and to support them as they seek to ‘know Jesus and make Him known’ to their families, friends and others.
We have a dedicated team of leaders who are committed to mentoring and encouraging young people. All our leaders are CRB checked and the church has a full Child Protection Policy with appropriate safeguards for the well-being of young people.
During our morning sessions we will be looking at the character of Jesus and God the Father, as well as how we can live in the light of what Jesus has done for us.
