Church CoursesEXPLORING CHURCH MEMBERSHIP COURSE
A four-evening course for those who want to find out about the URC and/or this church, or are exploring their next step in realationship with this church, as well as for those who want to become a member. In the course we look at the URC as a national church and how this church is organised and run; both the history of the national church and Plume Avenue church are illuminating sessions. The course also looks in depth at the membership promises and explores the whole concept of membership.
DISCOVERING YOUR MINISTRY COURSE
Three evenings of teaching, assessments and self discovery, and concludes with an individual consultation for each participant. The purpose of the course is to enable participants to discover their God given gifts and appropriate places of ministry in the church, with the aim of helping us be the people God has designed us to be for His glory and the building up of His church.
